Griffin Park was pretty much the perfect away day!

Yeah, I was there, stood with Poults, Mackster and Southampton Grecian (Norman and his amazing 17' scarf). Mr P didn't like Jonesy and Norm jumped on him after the pen incident, thought there was going to be trouble but it was all smoothed over.Don't recall much about the game (although it appears I was paying attention)! I do recall the atmosphere on the terrace being superb.
Main memory is of drinking in the corner bars beforehand, & meeting up with Po*ltice & Mackster - were you there Sturtz? Po*ltice took it upon himself to beguile a full cohort of jamblets with a continous spiel of "anecdotes" told in "colourful" prose. I don't think I'd ever seen my kids so rapt
(the frequently banned one is now so completely non grata around these parts that his name gets asterisked out - sort it out Modalethorpes )
Not 100% as I'm on my phone, but I do believe that could be me by the window past the chap in the red hat.Outside the Griffin Pub that day.
A few posters in the photo. manc at the back talking to yours truly & Ant Moxey in front of the window.
