In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Wise words from Peter Sissons a while back.
"Go back to basics. Report on the news. The term reporter is the noblest word in the language, not this term 'correspondent'. Far too much opinion is creeping into news reporting to steer the viewer into what to think”

There is a great picture of Sissons,John Lennon,Jimmy Tarbuck & Jimmy Blain(who played for the Grecians for many seasons in the 60s & 70s) in the sea at Southport on a school trip from Liverpool in the 1950s.

Barry Masters former lead singer of Canvey Island band Eddie & The Hot Rods.

Who could ever forget that great song from the late summer of 1977..
Can't believe that. I only saw them live in March this year supporting Stiff Little Fingers and he seemed as fit as a fiddle bounding around the stage.

Very sad. RIP Barrie.

Anna Quayle, 86. Actress probably best known as Baroness Bomburst in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Another staple of my childhood.
