Purple is the branding that Flybe use. These were the shirts being worn yesterday at the team photo shoot

Makes the branding much clearer from a distance which I suspect might matter to Flybe. Does bring back memories of our brief Jewson sponsored kits which were on a blue backing if I remember right.

Why didn’t they just do purple letters and no background?

Just had another look at the new away shirt and it looks ok with that.
The away shirt has a different logo?

The purple logo as mentioned above is the one we're using this season.
It's Flybe's new choice of branding.
Did we have any say in the shirts being changed?

Looks awful with the purple logo. Thats going to annoy me watching home games!

I hope when the flybe deal ends we can join in on the new trend of sponsorless shirts

Look at 'The Gap' and you'll feel much better!

Yeah that would have been better like they have done with the away shirt. I think the home shirt looks a mess now.
