Norwood heading to Ipswich according to some press. Good move for him if true.
Good one! :)

At one time players were literally modern day slaves to their Clubs but boy has it gone full circle.

Something wrong really when the EFL's top scorer for the previous season can leave on a free transfer and bad news for Tranmere all round.

He’ll take a bit of replacing goal wise and no cash to do it with , could be a struggle to stay up now.At least we got a bit of cash to play with for Jayden.

For whatever reason League 2 clubs who are promoted rarely seem to struggle in League 1 and I'm sure Mark Palios will make sure that sufficient funds are made available to make them competitive next season.

What makes you think that? I have been informed that Tranmere's budget in League Two was not huge, which made their promotion all the more impressive.

The fact they ran up debts of 1.5 million in the season they were promoted from the Conference. Their attendances should be in the middle of the pack in League One so even if Palios doesn't pump any more money in, their budget should still compare favourably with the likes of Wimbledon, Wycombe, Accrington etc.
