I'd rather be an U23 manager for a Premier League side than a coach at a League 1 side......... But he might the role personal more fulfilling at Ipswich so who knows? I think I read here Matt Gill was a target to be assistant of MT before Kinder was appointed but I don't know how true that is/was.

MT said that the person to be appointed as assistant manager knew the club well. That definitely wasn’t true about Kinder who was recruited when the intended appointment, probably Matt Gill,fell through.
