No I haven't, you decided that for yourself....
Don't worry, mate, I'm sure City will lose again soon enough and you get back to talking about football.

Is it Ok to dislike Argyle LGBTQs?
Of course, if only because they've sellotaped a 'Q' onto the end of their group.

Is that a whoosh? I think FBH is on your side of this argument
I was, but never mind. The thread needs to get back to the topic of the OP.

Very mixed feelings about this and certainly nothing against the formation of a LGBT group but just feel that this actually helps to create barriers rather than breaking them down.

Maybe I am being naive and asking for the impossible but so much better if all individuals could be treated the same.

Prejudice and discrimination of any kind become a thing of the past and for the education authorities to do just that and educate children to help create a more understanding inclusive and cohesive society.

That was my point precisely. However, it was instantly, incorrectly and ironically construed to be an attack on LGBT's.

This almost desire to want others to be intolerant just so you can call them out on it is unnecessary and doesn't help to solve the real issue of stopping prejudice.
^What he said

(Is it right in modern times to use masculine/feminine terms?)

You already appear to have chosen the side of intolerance.
Please can you reply to the post on this thread which is intolerant of LGBT, anti LGBT or which states that there should be no LBGT supporters club. Nobody on this thread has actually stated that or even implied that, apart from some people who have instantly jumped to that conclusion incorrectly and now it has become a (untrue) fact. Please show me that post.

Being non-discriminatory doesn’t necessarily mean treating people the same. Overlooking differences - and so the disadvantage that people face – risks entrenching that disadvantage. It's absurd to say LGBT people don't face prejudice in football. Sad some should find the prospect of a LGBT group in some way provocative.

Just out of interest, being naive that I am in this subject. How would anyone know if some is lgbt? Yes, there's plenty of intolerance in society but the sexuality or gender of a fan has never, in my watching of football, ever been questioned of a fan. So I have some appreciation of what IndoMike writes.

That said, I think it's a generally decent idea, because it brings people together.
