Even Fergie's quiet tonight, knows he got tanked by the better side on the night.

Ian, what will be the back up plan for the next 4/6 weeks without Ba?

Hopefully the same as last season when Andy Carroll left. Leon Best stepped up to the plate and knocked in a few useful goals and Shola Ameobi added a few aswell. We wait, we see and we wonder.

And Tioti, the bigger issue is that as well as they do they are still only competing for that sixth spot which nobody really wants anyway, good to see old red nose sat on his butt looking miserable.

Already managed that ******** and come through relatively unscathed. Managing without Demba Ba maybe a different issue.

Still a lot of fuss over trying to finish sixth.

I am trying to find decent odds for the Macams to finish above the Coders.

But when you and those like you have been banging on about relegation cannon fodder ever since The Toon returned to the Premiership, it's enough to make a noise about especially when it's Credy on his toes.

Newcastle looking good. Getting rid of the troublemakers has served them well.
Progress still being made. From the very first kick last night there was only one winner. They made Man Utd look like a mediocre Championship club.

Let's not get overly excited there RtP. I still lived in fear every time United went forward irrespective of the huge improvements in The Toon rearguard in recent seasons.

Rooney dropping deep and defending every throw in and corner tell you that United will struggle to finish in the top 4 this season.
