I have seen many excellent games for a fiver or less over the years, both league and non-league. Please bear in mind though it cost one shilling and threepence for admission to the Park when I first went there!

No, the next rise in admission from one shilling and threepence to two shillings didn't occur until the start of the 1965-66 season.

At £15.25 in total for the whole day out* in terms of value for money (and sheer delight) the deffo best away day EVER [y]

*NB: The above total obviously did not include "beerage" for the day which, naturally, exceeded the primary amount by some considerable degree <hic>
