Went out to Northbrook pitch & putt today for the first time in years and was please to see the same bit of graffiti that was there when i was probably still at school - "Clash" in white letters on the brick building by the 11th tee - is this the longest lasting piece of graffiti in Exeter?

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
There was some graffiti, until very recently in Old Tivvy Road,on the wall outside the 'Big Issue office'
It was amber paint reading 'Abbey Riot Squad',this dated from late '77 when Cambridge Utd did a little spraying after visiting SJP.
They also sprayed the back of the Cowshed at the same time.(after everyone had left of course)

Remember those aerosol slogans from years ago...City boot rule....etc...
Almost around any ground in that era,the battle crys of the 3rd & 4th Division could be seen...

I managed a few years ago,to go up the towers of Exeter cathedral.(a mate was a carpenter working there)
On the roof of both towers are inscriptions carved into the lead, dating from about 1750.Men working up there would carve their initials & the date.I added mine as well!!

It's also on the site of where the old speedway garage used to be (freshly done, mind).....

Wonder how long that will last.....
