Hi everyone

The first two East Devon Grecian Social Nights for the season have been arranged.

First up will be another attempt at Part 2 of the Murder Mystery Trail on Monday 22 August, with a bring & share buffet. The Euro 2016 England match took over last time, so we're hoping the weather holds this time around for a wander around Sidmouth in the sunshine.

Collect your Trail sheet from us at the 1922 Club, Sidmouth, EX10 8LY from 7 pm, then follow the trail around Sidmouth at your leisure, ending up back at the Club for some food & drink.

It's free to take part and open to all, but please bring something to add to our 'bring & share' buffet - sandwiches, sausage rolls etc - to eat once everyone has finished the Trail. We'll also have our usual raffle.

Then on Monday 12 September sees the return of Roger's Quiz! £2.50 per person, with teams of 4 which can be made up on the night. 7:30pm start with the chance to win sponsorship of a player's training kit.

Both events open to all, members & non-members welcome, so please share the attached posters & spread the word amongst friends.

Thank you to all those who joined us for the Quiz on 12 September, including Bobby Olejnik & Ollie Watkins and congratulations to Mike Paxton, Terry Bound and Gary Sawyer, who won.

Our next social night is Monday 10 October when we welcome new Exeter City players Pierce Sweeney & Robbie Simpson.

Thank you to everyone who came to our evening with Pierce Sweeney & Robbie Simpson. Thanks to your support & Pierce's friend Oisin's generosity, we raised over £110.

I was impressed with how open and talkative both boys were and I'm sure now Robbie knows how much Julie needs him to score, the goals will come flooding in again!

Our next social night is Monday 14 November, when we hope to meet our new sponsored player Jack Stacey and a team mate. From 7:30 pm at the 1922 Club
