Anyone else having a punt this season on this ?
Very tricky this year, the Prem is wide open and bookies have nobody as a clear favourite, the 2 manchester clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal are the predictable shortest odds thus far.
The Championship appears to be a 2 way battle between Newcastle and Villa
The 1st has Sheff U as favourites (same as every season and never seem to manage it) with Millwall fancied as well. I was gonna have a cheeky punt on Oxford until they sold their 2 standout players from last season last week
The 2nd seems to about Portsmouth, Luton, Doncaster and Orient. After seeing 3 of those last season I'm not entirely convinced, but I don't know how they have strengthened

I'm going to go for

Arsenal
Newcastle
Sheff U
Luton

The above for a tenner bet can currently return £17,325
If you change Arsenal for Man C it comes down to circa £9,500
If you change Arsenal for Man U it's circa £13,500
If you change Arsenal for Chelsea its a bit more and circa £19,000

Of course if you are feeling REALLY optimistic and rose tinted, you can currently get 40/1 on City (as opposed to 11/1 on Luton) which could net you over £50,000 with the other 3, and if you swapped Villa for Newcastle and kept City as well you are into £100,000 territory !!

Interesting Fred, not the best odds currently but Paddy Power would give you £4,625 for a tenner for that combo today

The odds are better if you bin the premiership and go for the National League instead. This accumulator allows a punt on promotion as well. Personally, I've won every season I've done it.

Villa
Sheffield Utd
Orient
FGR

All to get promoted, £10 on Paddy Power would net £3071

Nice to see you have kept confidence with City Stroudy ;)
