Need to put the national team above Premier League like they do in Germany.

Defence was lacking in both games & recent friendlies, could have done with a John Terry & Ashley Cole.

never gonna happen as long as sky and their millions keep bank rolling the prem or the FA change their stance on the foreign players

I think the national team is actually going backwards. We're so pedestrian and our passing is atrocious. If, by some fluke, we still qualify it would be a travesty.

Action plan from Next Tuesday:

1) Steven Gerrard & Frank Lampard announce retirement immediately. Rooney to do so before next WC.
2) FA decree that from 2015/2016 season, at least 1 English born player must start for each Premiership ship team for each League game. If they want to substitute them after 10 seconds then so be it.
3) FA decree that from 2016/2017 season, at least 2 English born players must start for each Premiership ship team for each League game. If they want to substitute them after 10 seconds then so be it.
4) FA decree that from 2017/2018 season, at least 3 English born players must start for each Premiership ship team for each League game. If they want to substitute them after 10 seconds then so be it.
5) If FIFA/EUFA/Brussels say 2,3,4 are illegal, tell them to eff off.

Remember in the early 1990s being sold the idea of the Premier League as being on top of the league pyramid with the England national team on top....

Is the correct answer, 2 players that have made it big in OUR top flight, have as good as sent us home, time to get them out our league system

6) Anyone who purchases a Premier League club to agree to recognize the priority of the English national team.
7) Champions league literally consist of champions of each European Country and revert back to knockout cup competition.
8) scrap meaningless friendlies , set up a footy 6 nations , to include Spain, France, Netherlands, Germany & Italy so that we regularly play decent teams at international level not just every 4 years.

Is the wrong answer. We need foreign talent to feed off, but not to the extent English players barely get a look in.

Probably need a system to work similar to that in the German league.

Is the right answer. Until England produce players who are comfortable on the ball in all areas of the pitch we won't go anywhere. You can add Welbeck to the list of retirees. Cole only played about 5 times for Chelsea all season.
