Last chance for some players to impress before Hodgson selects his initial squad for the WC.

Going for a 2-0 victory.

Sturridge with both goals.

Hopefully the lineup will be;

Fraser Forster

Luke Shaw
Gary Cahill
Steven Caulker
Glen Johnson

Adam Lallana
Steven Gerrard
Ross Barkley
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Wayne Rooney
Daniel Sturridge

It'll be 1-1 with an awful 4-4-1-1 team.

Shaw, Barkely, Sterling, Sturridge and Lallana have to start the first game in the WC imo. I know they won't but they deserve it and wouldn't let anyone down.

Will end up watching, but oh how I ****ing hate friendlies.

Also, interesting to see Spain are set to cap Brazilian Diego Costa tonight, which I think is a bit of a cheek given their plethora of striking talent.

You must be watching a different game to me. Sterling didn't touch it.

typed as it was happening, sterling was the player in the middle so assumed he made contact. second half needs to be better than the first.

got our reward through sturridge in the end, don't think Denmark will have prepared us much for Italy however. Been impressed with lallana and shaw as well as sterling.

Best player on the pitch. If that donkey Henderson gets picked ahead of him then Hodgson needs his arse kicking.

I think I might be in love with Raheem Sterling.
