I have a bulk (sale or return) order of a smashing paperback book written by Rob Bradley, ex Chairman of both Lincoln City and Lincoln City's Supporters Trust for sale.
The book contains 6 short stories that "touch on, tackle, or tear apart some of the taboos and topics of football today".
These include; the challenges facing a female manager; how clubs trade legally... and illegally; the life of a gay footballer; the role of a fan elected onto a Club Board; the freedom of the sports press... or lack of it; and being the unknown sibling of a famous player.
The stories are fiction but you may recognise certain events from the past and the stories are 'real' in many ways as they involve Clubs we all know - Lincoln, Torquay & Bristol Rovers for instance.
Now here's the nice thing - the book sells for £10 of which Rob will donate £5 to a Supporters Trust of your choice. Anybody interested???
