2 minute hobble from the nearest pub. Or in it.
Collin Tarrant. Who? you may ask.
Well he is the bloke who used to play Chief Inspector Monroe in "The Bill".
When in Exeter, for work at The Northcott Theatre, he is one of the few who frequents the Eagle Tavern.
He of course pales into insignificance next to the likes of Tony Kellow and other ECFC footballing greats, who I don't feel like name dropping tonight.

BTW, did I ever tell you lot that I am related by marriage to Des O'Connor (yes I did of course) and that my Stepfather also used to own a car that was formerly owned by Max Bygraves?.

I have many other tales, such as the night that my father spent with Daphne DeMaurier.

I also met Robin Ellis (Z-Cars), Kenneth McCloud, Keith Deller, The Crafty Cockney, the bloke that played Frank Tate in Emmerdale, Diddy David Hamilton, some bloke who was in Terry and June (he loved June but apparently Terry was not only deaf as a post but also a mean S.O.B.).

As for the Hollywood "A" Lister's. Well I don't like to brag, but again, through marriage........well,.......look up the name Eddie Marsan on IMDB.
Bleddy impressive or what. But I'll leave DiCaprio, Cruise, Neeson, Day-Lewis, Penn, Scorsese, etc, for another day.
Sadly though, I must confirm, that although Diaz is definitely a charming looker, she is also prone to acne (poor love).

Not that I'm name dropping mind (smiley, winky thing).

In the interests of self respect and honesty I feel that I must point out that I have never actually met, much less spoken to, at least 50% of the above. (whistle).

Oooops sorry.

I could go on further but De Niro's waiting and Kate's (W & B) are on hold.

I served Arthur Askey with breakfast in bed when he was staying at The Royal Clarence in 1959.

He was in some comedy farce at the old Theatre Royal.

Gave me a ten bob tip at the end of the week too..

Ithankyou...
