Great game last night, is there anything that football can learn from Ice Hockey?

What about having the prominent clock positioned where everyone can see it, and it stops when the puck is out of play and it counts backwards to the end of the period (adds to the tension)...

actually unlike NHL no punch ups were allowed during the Olympics, if they were allowed there would've been more fights then goals in the gold medal match

the extra time in the finals was probably one of the best game i have ever seen in any sport it was proper end to end stuff pretty entertaining. The goal itself was pretty much Smash and Grab.

I believe some of the ice hockey rules and football rules are the same like the offside rule and getting a penalty when someone denies you a clearcut scoring opportunity
