Well, if that's the way they do apologies in the US, I'm glad I'm this side of the pond.
To me it showed little humility and the stage management of it made me cringe.
If he hadn't been caught, he wouldn't be sorry. End of.
Go back and play golf and leave my TV screen alone.

What got me was that it made top item on the news. Man fakes apology ... nothing newsworthy about it.

Hopefully prospective sponsors are not as gullible as the news media. That's a faint hope, though, isn't it.

Especially when all anyone really wanted to know was when he'd be back playing golf again, to which the answer was "I don't know". All timed to **** off his ex-sponsor, of course. The man's ego has got the better of him. I used to find it amusing when Tiger ballsed up a major, now I my even be reduced to cheering for Phil Mickelson, I dislike him that much.
