A great man, a great Umpire, and by all accounts (before my time!) a fierce hitter of the ball. It's thanks to him that I tend to hop when the score's 111!

Echo Journeyman about his autobiography - a fascinating read, especially the bit about how depressed he was after he had an absolute mare when Pakistan won the Test match the one time.
