2009 Cricket Season......

Nets have started and the first games are only a couple weeks away....

our nets started back at beggining of march so hopefully getting some decent practice in for the season - hopefully another successful one

First fixture on Sunday so season is in full swing - cant wait for football season to be finished!

Had a couple of nets so far, and feeling pretty good. First League fixture on Saturday 9th May (conveniently the week after the promotion party at Rotherham!), although apparently might have a friendly on the weekend of 25/26 April.

We're down to just 2 XIs on a Saturday now unfortunately, and the 2s are in the 3s old place (Div 4), but given the possible strength of our team we are pinning hopes on a promotion party come Aug/Sep!

Depending on what side im playing for that day , hopefully the first team , but our 2nd team have Hatherleigh first game of the season on the 2nd of may.

First game for me this sunday....

time to pull out the kit , and time to give Cicada a call as i need a new bat.

I wish I could afford a new bat - always have blockbuster seasons when I get a new one!
