Seems I ruffled a couple of feathers, one in particular with the fact that I have been posting the Dark Rock Diaries update on the general Exeter City forum, rather than here, even though most of the content refers to Exeter City (but certainly not all), so I'll post it here as from now - unless of course I am advised otherwise!

Topics covered by the Dark Rock Diaries this past week:-

Mouse Attack
Confession Time
Cumbrian 'Dish of the Day'
Left In The Dark
Two Days Left; Two Completed: Two To Do
The Spotland Chase
Celebrating An Anniversary
The Christmas Rush
Ales Of The Unexpected

Good read Mike MBE! Johnny Corr et al.

Can't see the problem with keeping the same thread running on WOWS, and updating it, as you were doing.

The 'ruffled feathered' one and his disciples, know the name of the thread, what it contains, and can ignore if they choose to.

With a wider readership on WOWS, you should move it back there. Afterall, 90% of your blog is about the City anyway.

Don't work too hard Xmas day!!

Good read Mike, as usual. I read all of Exeweb, not just WOWs so doesn't make any difference where you post it

RtP,

With only 40 'views' of this thread since 23rd Dec I'd suggest it does make a difference, not to you or I, but generally-speaking.

The thread would get more visits than that between 9-10am on a Monday morning on WOWS.

Still, it's up to Mike where he posts it.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
A intresting article in the blog about Barrow's last FL game...That day i was a 11 year old & was not going to go to SJP,until i saw Headley(remember him?) walking up Sidwell St at around 12-00pm..I asked him who they were playing & went to my grans to get the admission money..15p,for Juveniles in those days....what a second half!...friendly pitch invasions from the Cowshed after the 4th goal & subsequent goals..Its not often you see 6 goals banged in after HT.

The favourites to make way for Hereford in the re-election 'closed shop' were Newport County that season..They had a poor record in the previous couple of seasons, but obviously Barrow were the more remote, for most 3rd & 4th Division teams at the time...Fellow Cumberland club,Workington followed the Bluebirds 5 seasons later..
