On the bus back from Daggers yesterday started chatting to a bloke, reveled he was the chief scout of Hereford (not sure if I believed him) said they had a £50k offer to Daggers turned down for Strevens last summer, apparently going to offer more in the January transfer window.......

He said that Benson was a good player but too old.

Believable enough. He has a good record of goals at Barnet and D and R. Quite good for a attacking midlfielder / striker.

Calm down everyone. Its only Hereford. They have a non-refundable one way ticket to League 2, so its hardly a step up for Strevens.
