Could someone explain why the cost of replica shirts at Football League level tend to be a lot more expensive than those sold by non-league clubs? After all, a Football League club should sell more, therefore the unit costs are lower, but it is not refelected in the price. the answer could be an obvious one of course ........ a money making exercise?

Easy Mike, If the market is willing to pay over inflated prices for replica shirts then the shops/clubs will exploit that but i do think the football shirt thing is not as popular as it was though

Under Randy Learner, Villa are a different kettle of fish to ALL premiership teams.Their shirt deal with Acorns is unique, and they have become my "Other team to do well" club. They're attitude this season is REAL class, not the nauseating, Sky peddled, "Big 4" sh*te we hear all season.
