Getting a bit of a pasting right now.

41 overs gone and India 268-4 with Yuvraj and Dhoni in. Looks like we'll be chasing 350+ unless we get a couple more quick wickets.
The bowling figs so far are not too pretty.

Bowler O M R W
Anderson 7.0 0 37 0
Broad 8.0 0 53 0
Flintoff 8.0 0 34 1
S Harmison 8.0 0 54 1
Patel 7.1 0 51 2
Collingwood 1.0 0 15 0
Pietersen 2.0 0 16 0

Edit:288-4 8 balls later

Just when you think it couldnt get worse! 38-4 on a pitch where Yuvraj managed to score 138 whilst wearing a girdle!

Early days Tom , in general were defiently going in the right direction...

Good to see Bopara get some runs , i think he's got a big future.

Shame he messed up both in the field (stood outside the circle dawdling!) and then ran out Skip.

Would be good to give him a try further up the order though - today, with the early wickets, was NOT the time to bring Freddie in at 5.

Talk is in the ODIs, well on 5Live Xtra at least, that Bell is living on borrowed time again - and that perhaps Bopara should open (as he often does for Essex in OD matches).

Once again, Harmison is found wanting in ODI Cricket. Whoever thought he could bowl at the death (or at any other point in a ODI), needs their head examined.

Harmison can bowl very well in an ODI do u not remember the SA series. The pitches are just to slow for him to use his pace which is his only real weapon. Bring swann in for harmison is what i say just for the ODI series.

You can shove your stone island up your arse, this
Samit Patel should have bowled much better than what he did as that pitch really did favour spinners. He was conceding 7 an over(?) whilst the Indian spinners were economical and took a lot of our wickets today. Another poor performance but well done to Owais Shah for his fifty.
