To be fair, that goal celebration, if it was for Luke McCormick then it is totally out of order. What that celebration convenes is that LM is in jail wrongly, which is not the case, without starting another thread about those tragic events, Norris has been an idiot and got involved in something which is nothing to do with him. If he supports LM that is fair enough, I'm sure most people would stick by friends through thick and thin, but doing it in the public limelight I feel is out of order. A very moving interview with the parents of the two boys:

Hes said it wasnt for McCormick and i think he has to be taken at face value. I think its a EASY THING to do against footballers and think its unfair that everyone has assumed that was what he was doing.

Er, I thought it WAS for McCormick, but wasn't meant to be shown as thinking he was innocent.

Irresponsible in any case.

Yet another completely ridiculous thread. Those two stories have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

The first concerns the FA asking questions of a player showing his support of a fellow player found GUILTY and jailed for killing two boys. What exactly is your problem with the FA getting involved with this, seeing as it is part of their job?

The second concerns Joe Kinnear shooting his mouth off at officials because one decision didn't go his way. I presume that the next time Newcastle score a goal from an offside position he'll be keeping quiet as well?

Though you would have something to say on this. And it is not pointless as this is a football fourm and this section is top to bottom football were we discuss these things.^o) well first of all even if the goal celebration was aimed at LM what they going to do ban him? no is the answer he he has not broke any laws so why do they feel the need to poke there noses in?

As for the referees comment how many mistakes where there this weekend to many and it needs looking at they are getting paid more than ever, getting to much protection from the lot in charge but are making why to many mistakes.week in week and get away with it.

So which mistakes are these that they made this week? Genuine question, as I haven't seen any Prem stuff this week.

Remember, these need to be genuine mistakes, not those pretend ones that commentators and managers seem to spout off about...

Don't normally find myself in agreement with tis1 but if it does relate to McCormick then WTF has it got to do with anybody else, Norris says it doesn't, it could just as easy be a message to his GF to say get the bracelets on cos he was on a promise, Shirley we have not yet reached the state in this country where somebody can be castigated for what is in their mind ? Sh*t forgot the anti terrorism laws.
