Don't now how many of you watched the game on Monday. There was a penalty awarded to Notts County, that gave them an equaliser. The Notts County player in crossing the ball hit an out stretched arm. To most this was a ball to hand, but not so for the Ref. One Brentford fan wrote to the referees manager about the decision and got a replay.

Read it here.

Good response, a mistake admitted to.

Good stuff - right call: was never a penalty.

Ball to hand was never one of my favourite decisions to give as a ref. A cross would have been turned in to a corner by that out stretched arm. Split second to decide whether that was done deliberately.

Good of them to come clean, but it doesn't change anything.

Personally, i was glad it was a draw.

Thats all anyone can ask for.

There human mistakes happen , its when they hide away and not admit it that upsets fans the most.

Fair play to the bloke.
