Whats the point? Apart from making some mediocre players very wealthy is there any need for this obscene circus?

No, but it does give Middx a bit of a chance to top up their tan before heading off to India for the Champions League.

Incidentally, Middx have warned they WON'T make much money out of the Stanford series. The CL, on the other hand...

Even Alastair Cook yesterday said that the cricket part was the least important bit, all the players are just focussed on the money. Waste of time IMO.

Fully agree. It will be nothing other than divisive.

Thanks

I'm sure the players aren't complaining.

Yes Twenty20 cricket is very popular, but if we keep playing Twenty20 every other week I feel it will soon lose its glamour (the only thing that will keep it glamourous is money IMO). I for one think this format is getting a bit tiresome now due to it not being a ''special'' occasion anymore.
