Anybody know what is the record for consecutive amount of appearance by a city player

Surely Rob Edwards has that record or is very close to getting the record

The last time he didn't start a game for city was at the start of 2006/2007 season because of a Rib injury he has pretty much started/played every match since then

Am I right in thinking that Edwards didn't start a game in one of the cup competitions either earlier this season or last?

Surely he must have the record for consecutive league appearances at least.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
I expect Arnold Mitchell, who layed in the late 50's & early 60's would hold that record..

MikeB would probably know the answer..

It was not unusual years ago, with smaller squads & players playing carrying injury's for quite a few players in a team to play the complete set of fixtures for a few seasons..

John Hore springs to mind..

I'd suggest that Danny Bailey might be in that mix somewhere. He didn't miss a game (of any sort) during the Championship season and proabably didn't the following season until he went to Reading.
