Sol Cambells's abuse?

Listening to 606 on the radio tonight, Alan Green made a point of not describing the abuse Sol Cambell got from the Spurs fans the other day, other than to say it was out of order and disgusting.

The way he was talking, it didn't sound like racial abuse.

Does anyone know what went on?

Was it fair play slagging off of an ex-player, or did lads step over the mark?

was way over the top, dont know exactly what was said

If you don't know what was said, how do you know it was way over the top?

I understood that the abuse questioned his sexuality. The BBC reports that the comments were "filthy" and not suitable for young children to hear.

if it got 'arry upset then it must have been pretty bad when you consider the abuse he has taking from teams over the years.

And how often do the police go to the fa asking them to take action over fans so it must have been pretty disgusting chanting and there is no need for it in football regardless if/what the player done.

It is like us and tim sills we gave him abuse but we didnt step the line it is the same with the luton player.

Fair enough. I know Campbell has been a little bit tetchy before when the Spurs fans have had a go at him.

It was racial, homophobic and taking the mick out of his mental state. Disgusting.
