In my opinion Torres has become one of the best ever players to play in England. The best out-and-out goalscorer since Alan Shearer and loads of technique, very clever and a real winner. If he stays fit this season, Liverpool should be considered as a realistic Premier League winner.

His goalscoring record is all the more impressive seeing as he doesn't take pens or free kicks.

Fantastic finisher, of that there's no doubt, and a great player to watch, but that's some statement regarding one of the best ever foreigners. IMO he's a way to go before he gets to the standard of the likes of Cantona, Bergkamp and Zola, to name but three.
And do we count 'foreign' Brits in that too: Dalglish, Giggs, Best, Rush etc?

Give him a few more seasons to be called "One of the bests" He's only been here for just over a season and the PL is only a few games old. There are a number of players you could call the best foreign import since the PL was formed. He's a good player yes but don't put him in the "Saints" bracket just yet
