Matches played in September have been:

Shrewsbury JPT L 1-2
Accrington FL2 W 2-1
Bradford City FL2 L 1-4
Notts County FL2 D 2-2
Macclesfield FL2 W 4-1

P5, W2, D1, L2

Not seen all the matches myself, so rely on what other have said. No one has stood out, consistently, in all the matches. So I think this month is a harder decision than August.

However, for scoring 4 in 4, for me it has to be Matt Gill.

Your choice?

Got to be Matt Gill just for the goals alone.

I read in the Mirror that the League 2 player of the month award is being contested between our very own Rob Edwards, Sicknote Anderton and Peter Thorne. They reckon it has to be one of the oldest player awards contested.
As for ours........................ gotta be Gilly hasn't it. Started off slowly whilst he was being held back by his injury but has got better and better and is looking more like the Gilly we know and love.

up thar' !
Got to Be Gill.

He's been a truly comitted player this month realy doing well IMO.

I struggle with understanding his midfield role (wide-man myself) for many years, before him Buckle & before that Cronin we the fine gents I used to alternate cursing their names then wanting to name children after them.

But he's just been a star. Cheers Gilly.[y]

I think Gill, he is the one that has shone when playing.
