Intresting coversation with a couple of exewebbers last night....

Grecian Harris & Lammie...

Is playing better than watching ?

Is watching better than playing ?

I wish i could personally go to more City games , but for me playing footie is better currently than watching on a saturday , obviously as i get older/cant play anymore that will change...

What do people think....

Just like the old days...
NOTHING beats playing mate, and it's not just the playing, it's the Banter. I was lucky enough to play in teams with great team spirit in my career. I thought it was tremendous and noticable that we all stayed for a drink last night, while they mostly cleared off early.

Stay a player mate. :D

The reason why I haven't joined my brother out at mightly Lapford is because I like watching city. However I love each Exeweb game and it makes me think I should play while I can.I'm thinking of either going Sunday League or sarcrificing city and joining Lapford...

Playing for me. Last night proved it. I like away games more than home and I wont be getting to one of them for a while so i will probably miss playing a bit more.

I'm probably too lazy too take it up again anyway.

The acid test for this came up a couple of weeks ago, when our Cup draw was made. The Cup 1st round clashes with Barnet away and, as I'm only allowed out one day per weekend, I was hoping for a bye.

Not only did we not get this bye, we were drawn to play Plym**th.

So, would I watch City (an all too rare experience nowadays) on the Saturday, or do I play on the Sunday?

Sorry Barnet, you don't get my wedge....the Bauys come first.
