I'd agree that it's hard going from one of the top 3 clubs to a middling club. We are the Forest Green of League One, we used to be the Bradford of the BSP.

But go back? Never!

Lewes away anyone?

Keeping the faith.
Agree - go back never.
But miss us not being on those live Sultana games.

Our time in the conference gave us lots of things we never thought of on the awful day we slipped out of the league. It gave us excitement, frustration, the joy of beating Torquay lots of TV exposure, visits to old trafford and wembley, and above all a "smiley" place to be on saturday seeing the club growing in confidence, becoming solvent, and laying down good foundations for the future. What more do you want? Yes i loved our conference years , and miss satanta, torquay, winning a lot, wembley visits, and being a big fish.Anybody who doesn't miss that,is telling a fib.I am however looking forward in the next couple of years to the big push into Division one to play Plymouth, Newcastle{easy win that one} and perhaps trotting along to see our reserves play Torquays finest.
