Looking forward to seeing you guys up here this week. As you know we have had a good weekend beating Port Vale away 4-1, but unlike them with us we will not be taking you for granted. After a poor start we seem to have come together winning our last 3 games all against sides that have come down from league 1 last season. Obviously I will be hoping to carry the good form on this weekend? Have a safe journey up.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
I have not been to Macc for quite a few years..Is the Golden Lion still around?..That was handy to the ground iirc..

Has the memorial stone to Ian Curtis been returned yet?

Thanks for that - fantastic trip down memory lane there!

If you want to see a cracking goal, check out Macc's third on Saturday. The little turn by the scorer was sheer poetry. Hopefully he's used up all his skills and will turn in a stinker this weekend!

One question "Paul", I see the away end now includes 420 seats, Does that mean if we don't bring more than 420 ( which we won't, more in the region of 250 ) then well all have to go in the seating bit or will the terrace be open still?

Another new ground for me so looking forward to it.
Here's hoping I can be in the away end and not like the last away game.

The Golden Lion is still there, but the one out side the ground has long since been knocked down. You are probably right about the away end, if the club don't think you will bring many then they may put you in the seats so bring enough money to gain entry to there, sorry but that's £18 this season. A new stone has been put back for Curtis.
