Just like the old days...
Depends. Is a wingback defined as a Full Back? Wide left for me.

Good reply Lammie. Although he started out as a full back, I think he can fit in there if required (like now). I think, also, he himself prefers to be in midfield.

it's disappair'd
Although Deano came on to a decent enough game on Saturday, the contrast between his play & that of George in recent weeks was striking. With Tully & Deano as our full-backs, we may well struggle against teams with the potential to exploit width.

I think positionally he is often bereft at LB, so I'd go LM.

Midfield for me. Up and down and hard working.

As me old mucker Jambo says its striking what an athlete George is. We will really miss his stregth and energy both defensively and attacking.

Deano doesnt have the pace or strength to play left back.

no reason why he cant play in both one week left baack next left midfield done well on saturday getting back and forth the only thing was his corners were bad. he can clear the ball in tricky areas on the pitch and is not afraid to take players on and get forward
