Capello should have learnt a lesson from this that Downing,Defoe & Walcott are not international class.Good to get a winning start in the World Cup qualifiers though.

The match was boring, not England. You can blame Andorra for that.

On the other hand, Heskey, Downing, Defoe and possibly Ashley Cole should never put on an England shirt again. Capello seems to have already realised that Crouch and Wright-Philipps are cack. Rooney had a bloody awful match. Trouble is that his choice of who to pick is very limited.

My team for Croatia: out of

James, Gerrard, Ferdinand, Terry (just!) Lampard (had a good game last night), Johnson, Barry, Bentley, Owen (if fit), Walcott, Beckham, Hargreaves (if fit), Rooney (just), Agbonlahor.

Others from the U 21s need to be blooded.
