.......for the rigours of League Two Football next season? when other teams are snapping up the goalscoring likes of Adam Proudlove.

Panther appears to be our only goalscoring addition to what we had last season (except that Carlisle's gone), so I take it that everybody else will be expected to chip in with goals again.

The goalkeeping department continues to be a worry, but I suspect Tisdale will remedy this by signing one, or giving that trialist (who's name escapes me) a go for the first game.

Amidst all the euphoria, doesnt anybody else think we're a couple of players short of a team?

If it ain't broke...........Don't fix it.

Especially with Tisdale's style of Passing Football. I expect we'll be comfortably mid table, perhaps with even an outside chance of snatching 7th place.

We got our just rewards, towards the latter part of last season we were almost written off by some. So now we do what we do best...prove the doubters WRONG, give it our very best and NEVER EVER GIVE UP. Why worry about the "ifs and buts" Tis and the team have the desire and WE HAVE THE DREAM. We may not do it straight away but we belong here and will do our upmost to stay here. BRING EM ON. CTID[ecfc]

I assume you mean Proudlock at Darlington. I do look at the players they have signed with a bit of envy but they obviously have a much larger budget than us.

Don't forget we have signed McAllister.

Probably. There is a tremendous team spirit, and an innate belief in each other's ability. They seem to be able to play well against the good teams last season, but the results at Weymouth and Salisbury towards the end of the season mean that there should be some caution exercised towards automatically thinking we will do well. However, the management team will be aware of the weaknesses and they will be addressed ahead of our first league game.

I am confident that mid table will be the minimum level we will achieve.

This may sound trite, but I personally believe that our style of play is better suited to League 2 than it was to the Conference.

This ECFC team like time on the ball and in League 2 they'll get it. In the seasons prior to relegation we were long ball merchants. You could count the number of passes on one hand. It was always 1-2-3 HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF. We're not like that anymore and I bet we raise more than one or two eyebrows next season.

Good enough for what.

to win promotion, I would like to think so, but I dougt it.

to finish in a respectable position and be able to hold our heads high YES WITH OUT QUESTION.

Tis has added to the team in areas he feels its needed, when the right players have come along and the price has been right.
He dosnt go and sign every player that becomes available just in case we might be able to use him later, ( we leave that to Torquay).

Weymouth and Salisbury was a dissapointment last season but every team will have a couple of games like that at sometime no matter what league we are in or how much we spend.

Trust in Tiz and he will lead us to pastures green.

Think we have a good enough team to hold are own,we also
have a great team spirit.
My only concern is we aint got a good dead ball specialist,
there will be a lot of tight, close games when a 25 yard free
kick will take the points. Someone like Don Hutchison (is he still
at Luton) will put it in the top corner every time when the pressure
is on.

Staying clear of relegation is good enough for me.

Not sure about this mid-table minimum aim, but hope it happens come end of season.
