He used to be my boss! I was always disappointed that he didn't trot backwards around the office. Top bloke.

Mike runs the line in Prem games and refs up to Championship level, AFAIK. I believe he reffed the England v France Ladies U21 game at the park last year too.

Indeed. He was in the OG for the game against Halifax. In jest, I asked him if he had been dropped that weekend. "No," he replied, "Game tomorrow".

I asked him where, and he replied "Anfield". :D

Alas, probably too good for League two.
Looking at Soccerbase, it would confirm that the only league he reffed in was the Conference last season. However, he only did 7 games so he must have ran the line in the Premiership more often. I know that linesmen also need to be able to ref, so maybe the Conference was just practice.
