A bomb has gone off in Giraffe in Princesshay about an hour ago. Some injuries and the whole place is cordoned off at present as they think there is another device!

Spotlight haven't even mentioned anything but that is probably this has happened in Exeter and not Plymouth

The latest is one person taken to hospital.

It's just happened in the last hour. The sniffer dogs are now here.

Giraffe is a restuarant in the new Princesshay development.

A petrol bomb was left in the toilets and he had a nail bomb attatched to his body.

He has now ben arrested and taken to the cop shop.

Jesus christ, you don't expect to see this happen in Exeter! Some muppet trying to make a name for himself or someone linked to a terrorist group? The former I'd have thought. Couldn't have been too big a blast if the perpetrator with it strapped to himself made it out of there. Still, shocking and very frightening for the diners in there I'd imagine
