Are in need of everyones help to stop the council from redeveloping the McCain stadium.
The stupid thing is its the council that stoped the football club selling the stadium for redevelopment that put them into bankruptcy.
So if anyone would like to sign a petition in support i hope ive got the correct link address

Hope Scarborough get themselves sorted out & solvent again.Local councillors unfortunately have the least common sense of any lifeform on this planet.

Looks like the past 2 years of effort have done nothing but fall on deaf ears. Demolition of the severly decaying and heavily derelict McCain stadium is imminent according to this piece in their local rag

Scarborough Athletic are, nowadays, a Trust run club. The campaign to save the 'old ground' (gosh, some memories about that!) is probably based more on sentiment than anything else. We talked at length with them at the Supporters Direct conference in 2010, and although frustrated with their forward movement are at least solvent, as a look on their website will reveal. The Council seem to be a lot more supportive now than they were under the previous owners and administrators.

Scarborough Athletic played in Grimsby only recently but against Grimsby BOROUGH. They came back from 3-0 down to win the game 4-3 so there's certainly still a lot of fight left in them.

After the very unfortunate accident to manager Brian France they seem to have faltered in the league with very mixed results even after after a win yesterday they are 15th and way off the pace and have no chance of promotion , its a shame i would love to see them back higher up the league had some very happy days there.

Finally the McCain Stadium is being out of its misery. A sad sight indeed
