Ryan Swan Signs for Exeter

Exeter City have announced that they have signed striker Ryan Swan on a deal that will keep him at St James park until the end of the season.

There has been much speculation about whether he was going to sign, after an Irish newspaper reported that he’d ryan_swan_featbeen on trial in November, and then that he was at St James Park on Saturday wearing an Exeter City tracksuit.

The former UCD (University of College Dublin) forward put pen to paper on a contract at St James Park having impressed on a trial at the club in November.

The 20-year-old started his football career at Tolka Rovers and made his League of Ireland bow with Bray Wanderers, where he became friends with current City player Pierce Sweeney. He then moved to UCD at the start of the 2015 season and managed to score 18 goals for the Students in 54 First Division appearances. He also netted three times in the Europa League in 2015.
