In news that will be disappointing for Grecians, it’s been confirmed that AFC Bournemouth’s loanee Jayden Stockley has signed on pre-contract terms for Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen. He been offered two contracts by Paul Tisdale, but Exeter couldn’t match the Dons.

The Bournemouth player joined Exeter on loan in January having been on loan at League 2 Portsmouth before. He was an instant success with the Grecians, scoring on his debut against Morecambe then getting two on the Saturday against Leyton Orient.

In all he scored 10 goals in 21 starts, and one substitution appearance and earned himself the golden boot.

Speaking on the Aberdeen website Jayden said:-

To get the opportunity to be involved in European football was a big part of coming here and also the plans the manager outlined for the future which are really exciting.

Aberdeen have two games left to play in the SPL this season, but are guaranteed to finish second.
