The FA Cup third round tie has been chosen for live coverage by the TV companies and the FA and will be shown live on Friday 8 January 2016, with a 7.55pm kick off.exeter_liverpool_child_ticket240811

It’ll be the second time for the Grecians live on television. Their first round tie at Didcot being moved to the Sunday for the BBC to cover. The Grecians second round tie at home to Port Vale was also moved, to Sunday,  for the BBC’s single camera coverage.

The Liverpool aren’t happy with the switch to the Friday night. The 500 mile round trip from Anfield to St James Park can’t be done by public transport, necessitating road travel or an overnighter.exeter_liverpool_ticket240811

Exeter City fans are also unhappy, as the Club have increased prices for the game. Something that wasn’t done for the previous Liverpool game in 2011, or the visit of Man Utd in the FA Cup in 2004.

Ticket prices have also been announced and those tickets are now on sale to Gold and Silver members
