Exeter to Launch Former Players Association

At the friendly game with Fluminense U19s Exeter City will be launching it’s Former Players’ Association. The game takes place at St James Park on Monday 20th July with a 7.30pm kick off.

The Club are therefore inviting all ex-players as guests of the club to the game.

The fixture against Flu’s youth side will commemorate 101 years of ongoing history between Exeter City and Brazil, dating back to the first fixture for the Seleção against the Grecians on 21st July 1914 at Estádio das Laranjeiras in Rio de Janeiro.

And the fixture will also allow every player who has played their part in the club’s history from across the generations to get together again at St James Park, and to celebrate the time that they spent in the red and white of Exeter.

Former players will be able to meet their former teammates and other ex-Exeter players in the Grecian Centre from 6.30pm, where refreshments will be served, before watching the current crop of players in action with representatives from the club and Supporters’ Trust from 7.30pm.
