Scot Bennett Transfers to Meadow Lane

Exeter City’s former captain, 24-year-old Scot Bennett has joined Notts County on a permanent deal.

The Newquay born player has played 142 times for the Grecians, scoring 17 goals and receiving 13 yellow cards. He was made captain last season, but his appearances have been limited this season, though he still managed to play in 31 games.

Scot on his move said on the Magpies website:-

This is the right club to be at, they’re a massive club and hopefully we can get the promotion they want and climb again. I’ve always wanted to get to the top and if this club can push on and do what I think they’ve got the potential to do, that will be a massive thing for me.
