Exeter Announce Retain List
Exeter City have today announced their retain list for the 2015/16 season.
Clinton Morrison, Pat Baldwin and Graham Cummins have not been offered new contracts. Liam Sercombe has already signed for Oxford United, and Scot Bennett has decide to move on.
Pat Baldwin and Graham Cummins have not been offered a renewal after the expiration of their contracts.
Danny Butterfield has already been appointed to a player-coach role.
Players already contracted for next season are:

- Ollie Watkins
- Christy Pym
- Ryan Harley and
- Tom McCready.
Contract terms have been offered Christian Ribeiro, Matt Oakley and Jimmy Keohane.
Lee Holmes has returned to Preston North End following his loan spell, as PNE are involved in the League 1 play-offs.
The first-team will also be joined by Manny Oyeleke, who arrived earlier this month from Brentford, as well as Alex Byrne, Joe Charles, Cameron Gill and Josh Read who have completed their apprenticeships and graduate from the Academy this summer.
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale said on the retained list:
Scot has played more games than most for Exeter City, and when you give six or seven years of playing like he has done, there comes a point when you’re entitled to look at your options.
You can’t keep everybody just because they have come through the ranks – we develop players and they move on. He’s a local boy and one day maybe he’ll have the chance to come back again.
Graham is another one that is going to move on somewhere where he thinks he’ll get regular football. I wish him all the best for it – he has done an extremely good job for us, especially with coming in late and missing pre-season.
I’ll be looking at his career going forward because he gave a lot to us and I’m very fond of him.
And I am very sad that Pat is leaving us. He suffered a very cruel and unfortunate injury this year and I certainly wish him the very best.
He’ll take a lot of credibility into his next situation as somebody who has been very professional and added value around the club, on and off the pitch, and has been a very good influence to all our younger players. I’m really hoping that he will do well.
