Cheltenham Town have announced that Manager Paul Buckle and Assistant Manager Rob Edwards have left the Club. Both leave on a mutual consent basis. Former Exeter City player Assistant Manager Paul Buckle joined the Robins on 26th November, on a 12 month rolling contract. He soon appointed Rob Edwards as his assistant. Paul’s reign at Cheltenham lasted just 79 days. His record at Whaddon Road reads played 12, won 1, Drew 5 and lost 6. They were also knocked out of the FA Cup by Dover Athletic, and lost to Exeter for the first time in a competitive game.

Rob Edwards, former Grecian player and Assistant Manager, joined Paul Buckle’s team on 5 December, having previously been manager of Tranmere Rovers this season until his dismissal.
