The Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has confirmed that Clinton Morrison will remain an Exeter City player until the end of the season. The 35-year-old joined Exeter in November on non contract terms, and has started 3 games and come on as a substitute in a further 3 games. sercombe_morrison

In his 6 games the Grecians have won 1 game, drawn 1 and lost 4. The team have scored 4 times in those 6 games and conceded 10. Clinton also earned himself a yellow card at Stevenage after vigorously protesting the lack of a penalty after being brought down in the penalty area.

Paul Tisdale talking on Clinton staying said:-

Clinton will stay with us until the end of the season. It’s another player who is adding competition for places and I think he has done very well and hopefully he will continue to add for the rest of the season.

He is a good player, and he will add value with his game and add value to aspiring young centre-forwards also.

Most importantly I sign players with the view of someone that can play in the team.  Whether they do or not is down to selection, but they are signed to play and be selected.
