The facts.

~ Stevenage Football Club, The Lamex Stadium, Broadhall Way, SStevenage, Herts. SG2 8RH.
~ Stadium size: 6,600 of which 1500 (seats) are available for away supporters.
~ What is the stadium like: Out of town, modern but with two seated and two standing sides.
~ POTG or ticket entry. Pay on the gate is available, but there is a £2 discount available if tickets are Abought in advance from Exeter City. Prices in advance are:-

Adults: £20, 60 & Over/Students/UB40/Armed Forces/Emergency Services – proof required: £17, Under-22: £12, Under-16: £8, Under-12: £8

Bar inside the ground? No.
~ what is the away end like? Not too bad. relatively elevated to get a good view of the pitch and close to the pitch.H
~ arrangements for disabled supporters. Places should be booked in advance, limited parking. 12 spaces available in the home end, divided 50/50 between home and away fans. Check for information here.

Getting there.

~ Sat Nav post code: SG2 8RH. Directions from St James Park to Broadhall Way here. There is free car parking available off the A602 opposite the ground. The ground is a short drive from the A1(M).V
Mileage: 216 miles each way , fuel costs in the region of £100. Likely travel time 3 hours 40 minutes each way.

~ Train from Exeter St Davids to Stevenage station. Leaving Exeter at 08.49 and arriving at Stevenage at 13.16 then returning on the 17.40 arriving back in St Davids at 21.57 (via Paddington and King;s Cross) will cost £89.50 for a return ticket without a railcard. The walk from the station will take about 24 minutes. It may also be worth considering going to Knebworth station where there’s a decent boozer and sharing a taxi to the ground which is just over 2 miles away.broadhall_west_stand

The Station at Knebworth railway station served good beer and nice food when we were there last.
