“Matt Grimes Remains an Exeter Player”

The Club last night issued a statement confirming that Matt Grimes remains an Exeter City player. The statement says:-

The club is delighted with the form of Matt Grimes and would like to state that despite rumour, conjecture and news articles he remains an Exeter City player.

There’s been speculation that he’s been for a medical with Swansea City and that they have offered a transfer fee of £1.75m for the 19-year-old. Matt Grimes has now played 59 times for the Grecians and scored 4 goals. His most recent goal being an excellently taken free kick away to Accrington Stanley.
