Charity Santa Dash Ahead of Carlisle Game

Exeter City fans are being urged to sign up for the Santa Dash on Saturday 13th December which is the day of the Carlisle United match. The event will raise money for Hospiscare and the Football In The santa_dash_pic1Community (FITC).

The Deputy Lords Mayor of Exeter will set the participants off from the Guildhall at 1.15 for the one mile sprint/run/stroll up to St James Park. First ones at St James Park will get a medal. Apparently this is good fun!

Entry fees are £20 for adults and £5 for children,  which includes a match ticket and a Santa suit, and you are asked to raise a minimum of £10 in sponsorship.

Sarah Smith, events and community fund-raising manager for Hospiscaresanta_dash_pic2, said of the Santa Dash:-

Hospiscare is delighted to be associated with the Exeter City Football in the Community Santa Dash. This is such a fun event and something that the whole family can get involved with whilst raising money for two local causes. We are busy getting a Santa team together from the hospice and hope hundreds of other localsanta_dash_flyer people will be there on the start line with us! The money raised by this event will help Hospiscare continue to give specialist end of life care to patients in Exeter, Mid and East Devon.
